Welcome to San Diego Linguistic Papers.
San Diego Linguistics Papers (SDLP) is the working papers archive of the UCSD Department of Linguistics. Our mission is to make accessible nascent ideas and research in linguistics emerging from San Diego. SDLP serves as a forum for authors who want to disseminate fully edited, publishable work as well as those who wish to present novel ideas or developing research.
Papers from any subfield of linguistics are accepted. Graduate students in particular are encouraged to submit works in progress, taking advantage of the informal nature of SDLP to open discussion on new avenues of research. If you would like more details on how to go about submitting your work, please contact the editors.
SDLP posts papers online as they are received. At the end of each calendar year, all papers from that year are assembled and archived as that year's issue. Issue 1, consisting of papers submitted during 2003, is available online here.
Copyright notice: authors retain copyright to their work, and submission to SDLP does not preclude publication elsewhere.
