The Experimental Syntax Lab at UCSD is a research lab of the Department of Linguistics directed by Grant Goodall. It is devoted to the use of experimental methods, primarily examining acceptability, to explore issues of interest in the study of natural language syntax. The lab contains work space for the design, preparation, running and analysis of experiments, as well as space for meetings and discussion groups. The lab brings together faculty and graduate and undergraduate students to work collaboratively on syntactic research using formal experimental techniques. The main lab web page is now here.
